You open the door a crack and can’t see anything waiting to pounce on you. The hallway is dimly lit by a torch hanging on the wall at its other end about 20 meters away. Slowly, you ease the door open a little more. Your heart begins to race because you know you heard a noise just before you opened the door. You cautiously peek around the doorframe into the hallway. You barely notice the flash of a tiny animal as it skitters around the corner at the other end of the hallway. You:

1. Slam the door in fear. What was that!
2. Chase after the animal to see where it went. Maybe you can follow it out of this place.
3. Cautiously sneak down the hallway listening for signs of where the beastie might be hiding.
4. Recklessly chase the animal, thinking you should add it to your food supply.
